We are seeking dedicated Pre-Litigation Paralegals to join our team, individuals who actively collaborate with attorneys, clients, and legal professionals to gather essential information for upcoming court cases. As a Pre-Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including document collection and review, legal research, client communication, and drafting legal documents pertaining to medical aspects. We value candidates with effective communication skills, data entry proficiency, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:
- Thoroughly collect and review required documentation for Injury cases, ensuring completeness and compliance with legal requirements, especially medical records.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and gather relevant information to support various legal cases.
- Maintain effective and informative communication with clients, providing updates on case status and addressing their inquiries.
- Draft a variety of legal documents specific to cases involving medical aspects, such as medical affidavits, expert reports, police records and discovery requests.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
- Prior experience in a Paralegal role or within the Legal field
- Previous knowledge of applicable American laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in legal research, with the ability to analyze and comprehend legal information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients and stakeholders.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal tools, software, and electronic document and file management.
