Job Summary

As a Collections Specialist at Medical Data System, you will play a crucial role in contacting patients by telephone to address their accounts, ensuring the timely collection of past-due balances. Your responsibilities include answering patient account inquiries, facilitating alternative payment plans, and maintaining accurate patient account records. 

Responsibilities:

• Contact patients by phone to address overdue balances.

• Respond to patient inquiries regarding their accounts.

• Assist in setting up alternative payment plans when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and updated patient account records.

• Address and resolve third-party payer issues.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated with strong communication skills.

• Strong work ethic and a desire to achieve both individual and team goals.

• Logical thinker with the ability to evaluate accounts for potential issues.

• Comfortable and confident in requesting payments over the phone.

• Punctual and professional demeanor.

• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changes.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience and knowledge of medical collections are advantageous.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 7 PM (Guatemala Time)

Location: On-site (Zone 4, Guatemala City)

Salary: Q 6,200 + up to $700 in commissions
